Cool Mark, i thought it would of had a different owner by now, whats the Tassy Connection with your A9X ?????
only Racing A9X Hatch that i know that was in Tassy, was Garth Wigston Roadways A9X Hatch
Hi the guy i bought it off was living in Tas at the time but has since moved to Qld. The car saw some road use in Vic before going south and i still have the plate that is in the photo.

I believe that at one stage the Hatch was also owned by A9X Club of Australia's Tasmanian State Secretary, Leigh Harvey.
I remember him showing me that very magazine article at his house when I took him for a spin in my L34.

Yes now i know the car. After Gene Cook it was owned by Brian Potts in sydney, we are in the same factory complex. Brian removed the steel gaurds a put a full fiberglass front on it. Don't know where it went when Brian sold it but could find out. Brian found out that was the 1st or 2nd production gtr and was won by Judith Durham of the Seekers before it became a race carCooky.jpg 28.6K 6 downloads Gene Cook with his V8 Torana, was the EX Bryan Thompson Yellow V8 Torana

If so the Monterey l34 i currently own,(according to its previous owner)said that he had brought it from a guy over in Tassie.
It maybe that car, as i understand there wern,t a lot made in this colour.
My car does not have the sill panels painted black, as the one in the previous photos has.(Assuming that was the metallic green car that Les was refering to.) ???

BMW type front seats, i thought it had Race Seats in it.
Lee Wallace owned it here in Late 1980's say 1988-1989 or early 1990's etc, so it might be the White Car that is Orange now
