I was about to say not much change out of 40K, and with the prices of steel gone up since 2008, bout 15%.

Mine is 9 x 7 and I often wish I had an extra .3 or so, it's a bit squeezey once you put your crap in there :-)
Makes the back yard look a lot better and less lawn to mow too.
Now we are waiting for pics with a purple beast parked in there!!

Nice, did you get a contractor to do everything for you? My budget is $30,000 unfortunately but I'll be doing everything myself.
Anyone dealt with 'The shed company'? They sell zincalume and colourbond with very resonable prices as a kit.

Hi Luke,
The Company I used to do the slab and shed construction went bust,
and I now know why, they charge a lot for outside contractors and charged us extra after the shed was completed for the hiring of equipment.
I did all the inside stuff, bathroom, plumbing ( hot/cold ), mezzanine floor, all the walls and wiring, just had a sparky connect the shed with power.
Then I used a Contractor to dig the trenches and put the concrete leach drain arches and 3200 litre tank in. Dave I

For the guys that have three phase power, whats involved and cost associated to get it hooked up?

Cost. How long is a piece of string?
Been a while since I did this stuff.
Used to be about $250 to upgrade overhead line to house.
And about another $250 for the metering.
What is distance from pole to house?
Which state are you in?
The better question however is why do you think you need 3 phase power?
If you were going to air condition your whole house it would be worth it.
But just for pottering in the shed, hardly worth it. Unless you already have a lot of 3 phase equipment at your disposal.

Thought you may also need to know this one.
I up-graded a single phase Transformer from 40 amps, to put in a 100 amp one:-
Transformer TOTAL Cost = $7500
plus $1500 for a Meter Box to connect the Transformer to the Meter Box
$14,000 for 50sqr mm metal shielded single phase Cable 210 metres long
and that is just for starters. Dave I

Mate of mine paid close to 100k to get power to his house. Single phase only.
Had to run about 1km of poles and wire.
If anyone else connects in the future he will get reimbursed a percentage.
Its over 20 years now and no one else has built out there.

I had a property like that once Rod,
only cost me $40 yep $40 to get the power connected, and that included 3 power poles.
There were 20 houses already there and they were 3.5 acre lots,
I had a 3 bedroom transportable house put there in 1982. Dave I

Yeah back in the good old days when things got done.
Another mate had 3 phase power and phone put to his property for the basic connection fees.
His driveway would be close to 3 km long.
Now you pay for it but the authority owns it and maintains it.
First bloke had about 6 poles and a transformer.
This bloke had frock loads of poles and a transformer.
Years ago they provided the service.
Now it is user pays.
And they know how to charge now as well.
