I am really liking this shed.
What size is the shed itself dattoman?
I am guessing there is plenty of room for a hoist in the centre if you were to do away with the mezzanine floor above the car? you would still have heaps of storage room either side if you took this option would you not?
Shed is 13m x 7.5
Plenty of room for a hoist
But no money/power for that yet
Plus the floor is the old concrete from previous sheds so its not thick enough/reinforced or flat
So to put a hoist will need cutting a section out and bringing it back to code
Not in a rush for such things

Thanks Datto and Steve, and nice option Keiron,
Re the sizing debate....mine was limited to 9 x 8 by stupid Fu$$#g council.
Thus, what appeared huge when empty, is now full...oh well
TIP - make it as big as you can.
Also...you're right Datto....lots of wall space that can be utilised mate

With a tin shed use tie rod from the roof beams hang your shelves and attach to the walls

High ceilings = shelving that's out of the way. You can add so much space by using the walls above head height for storage.
If you had one of those Wild Boar 4-poster hoists that don't need to be bolted down (I think they even come with wheels?), I don't see why you couldn't store entire cars up on racks out of the way?

yep I have seen cars fork lifted up on top of mezzanine floors a few times.
If things are built correctly theres no end to where you can put things.
The shed I am in used to have a lh 4 door torana sitting ontop of the shitter roof. lol
I have 3 motors up there atm but I dunno about putting whole cars up on things I did not build lol

Good stuff Jake whats the size
It's only 6.5-7m wide. I'd love to go bigger but trying to keep it in proportion with my backyard..

I used sheds and homes, after an initial f up on my behalf and with a time crunch they pushed my shed through so I could have it on the day I needed it.

Hey James,
The Shed Company I used, has closed down now,
but for info sakes, I was charged for the shed,
slab and the job done upfront.
But what I didn't know,
was getting charged $2450 for hire equipment,
after the job was done.
So make sure you get the total cost in writing.
