Thumbs up for the black and white chequers. Another thumbs up for the Coronas!
Did you use any particularly special paints for the flooring?

heavy duty paver /driveway paint from bunnings..lable says able to withstand hot tyres so should withstand the punishment

G'day All
Now that our house has sold and we are moving into a new "old" house. I've found myself with the daunting task of converting a carport/shed/carport/carport/carport into ONE unit
This pic should explain it more
And a view from the other end
AND this will also be mine, probably mancave material where I can put my Brock/Torana/HDT/MHDT/Firth stuff or as my missus would probably call that building, Barry's dog-house
AND this little house is for visitors
OK, so it ain't no u-beaut garage but it is what I have to modify/manipulate/create into something that will suit me
RegardSS ...... Barry
PS
Pics of the 4-bedroom house exterior
Just love verandahs like this
BBQ of course
That over-grown bush is hiding most of the carport/shed/carport/carport/carport

Might need a spirit level for the out house? or the photographers got one short leg?

Both, the dunny is on a lean and yes, my right leg is shorter than the left after a car accident in 1969
No wonder people are always asking me "are you on the level Barry?"
And definitely a lot of places to hide when need be
BUT the list of jobs is one I cannot hide from as the missus will be there cracking the whip

fabulous neil
i,ll have to stop by and check out your handywork mate
secondly
i firmly believe that personally you can just get
the most satisfaction iin life by helping out someone who you hardly know
and on that occasion i got to put some faces to members of this forum that otherwise would generally remain invisible
was a great time and when i visit i,ll have a good supply of roundup
as i never ever want to see another japanese pepper tree
p.s
make sure that the other dave
the hoourary one (potta)
hasn,t got a slingshot and some japanese pepper tree seeds
or give him back his frigin cat!!!!
hopefully the guys in NSW can come through and help out!

That bloody cat is still here
The neighbour on the driveway side has removed his 3 big tress that were causing me grief too
I can see the hills now
And much less mess
Once I tidy the place up abit

I suppose to some, Cootamundra is in the middle of nowhere but I do have one little helper and I guess I will just slowly hack away at it
Well maybe not so slowly when I borrow a chainsaw from my son or my father in law
It will get done, just will take some time

G'day All
Slow progress on the shed build but legally we are not suppose move in till 18/19 April
But I am thankful that the now ex-owner has let me do a bit of work on the shed as well as store stuff there
This is the first wall to go up
Today I did a bit of work on my "old" shed at my "old" place, dismantling the loft that I stored some of my Torana parts on
After loft dismantled
Starting to look MT

G'day All
Got stuck into the overgrowth on the back of the shed, this is what it use to look like
AND now
Took a few hours to cut through the tangled overgrowth and we were even helped by the previous owner who doesn't move out till 18 April
Even found a place for Stuffy, our pet dog
AND he looked quite happy just to sit there with his ball and watch us work our guts out
Where Stuffy's kennel is, there was another of those overgrown useless bloody climbers
A huge amount of cutting back and trimming and in some instances, get rid of like above of the 10 years of neglect by the previous people who rented the house

The ole hills hoist still going strong after all these years of harsh conditions
aussie ingenuity right there
Top job Barry dont over do it young man
I did over do it and today feeling it OUCH, my poor old bod
The box trailer was packed to the gills and I stomped on it to flatten it down, the branches cut shorter to compact down, 2 very big loads to the tip with a total bill of $18
Yes, it is an original Hills Hoist and yes, I can remember swinging on the one we had when I was a widdle kiddie at Port Kembla and remember the whack across the back-side for doing it
Catch up at the Fest mate

G'day All
Well the BIG move will be upon me in only 3 days but for the kindness of the now previous owner, he as allowed me to put things in the shed and my "mancave"
I have been moving the greenery and the last to go over to the new place is "Torana-man"
Loaded him up in the box trailer and now he is enjoying the NEW scenery of our new place
You may have noticed I have given him a modern hair cut, a Mowhawk
