I am thinking of either swapping or selling my slr for a ford mustang or a xr ,xt,xw.xy as i have another torana for a driver , i am never going to drive the slr and would get a very good mustang or a camaro with the money i would get , what other cars do any of you think would be suitable , i am open to any ideas as i only like cars made before early 70/s i also like the look of a lot of American cars of that era , What do you forum members think , Trex

I think the 69 Pontiac would either be a 400 or 455? $$'s permitting I would go for a '63 Split rear Window Vette.

69 RS SS Camaro if it is to be American.

Or if you want a different Aussie muscle car besides a torana then you cant go past a Vitamen C E38 replica.

a '68-'72 Big block/4spd powered 2dr Chevy Nova would be a hot little ride that isn't as common as a Muzzy or Camaro over here. Prices are pretty good on them still too, could probably have one for less the 20grand landed.

Here's a pic of one so you can see the style of one.

Yeah, Thats my pick as well. Funnily enough I have been thinking of doing the same. I might not get a fortune for my car, but I may be able to get enough for a average condition US muscle car. I have been seriously looking at a Dodge challenger rather than a Plymouth Cuda. Same body but generally quite a bit cheaper.

The nice looking cudas '70-72's are really starting to get very pricey, that said they are a beautiful muscle car

Nice to see Im not the only one who considers selling thier Torana for some real US muscle. For me it would be a 67-68 Camaro or Challenger.
Others I would buy given the right chance would be a Nova or Chevelle, or a C4 vette would be a great sunday cruiser. Dont think I would sell the SS for these though.

BUT these two???????

Hell I would sell my torana AND my wife for those two. I mean you can always find another woman, but it would be hard to find two more cars like that!!!

You are gouing to have to look far from home rexxy to find anything decent.
There's a rusty 78 camaro at andergrove for 10k! I wouldn't go near it!
Get yourself a 911 & enjoy the thrill of driving! Then you can keep the slar too!
I reckon a blat around the block in mine would be the clincher! :D
Glad to see you have got the pc working again!
