Unreal.

That is pretty cheap! It would be good to get a sample of the shirts before we went ahead, and also to sus out their embroidery as well ( just from a quality standpoint).

AussieV8.com.au forum has just ordered their new polo shirts.. they ended up being $36 ea and only went up to 5XL. I havent seen them yet, but the admin who owns the site did the design himself and then simply asked for orders ( no pictures or anything supplied).

I think we should all feel happy that at least we were able to have SOME input into the design!

$30 including a donation is great value, and at that price i would buy 5. ( 3 for me... tent size.. and 2 for simmo... normal human size!)

Cheers.

To get your size, lay your favourite polo flat and measure from armpit to armpit.

Size Chart as follows.
These shirts available in 100% Cotton, Poly/Cotton blend, Pique or Cool Dry.

S -53.5 cm
M -56 cm
L -58.5 cm
XL -61 cm
2XL-63.5 cm
3XL-66 cm
4XL-68.5 cm
5XL-71 cm

Optional brand 5XL-79cm available at extra $2.00 per shirt. Available in Cotton or Pique only.

I'm still trying to get 7XL ToranaSS, but see if you can squeeze into a 79 cm shirt?

This supplier quoted $22.80 per shirt, hasn't stated wether this includes GST or not, I'm thinking not.. however, if it does incl GST then maybe we can charge $25.00 and take a $2.20 donation for the website per shirt.

Man, this is a long lunch!!!
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Put me down for 2! Most Probably medium, ill have to get out one of my shirts and measure it up!

fantastic work Knoath!

Is it possible to like get one of each material? or does the order all have to be the one type of material?

Also how about postage for the interstaters? Us melbourners are easy we can meet up on a cruise and get it all done!

I cant wait to strut around in these!

I'm still working on getting samples etc. Matty.
I haven't thought about the postage yet, maybe someone who's done that sort of stuff before could help me out here?
Really need to make it cost effective ..... don't want our interstate brothers (and sisters) to miss out, or fork out extra.
Is it fair to include postage if it falls within the price we pay in Melb ($30 for shirt and donation), and still get a donation out of it?
I'd like to hear what the interstaters think.
Like I said, I need some help with organising this.... anyone putting up a hand?
Thanks.

Knoath: I'm more than willing to help out with the postage etc ( being in sydney though it could be interesting!)

Ive not done posting of bulky items before, other than seeing brown paper and string used lots!
I'll have a look on the aust post website see if we can get any ideas on how to post and the costs and get back to you.

Matt's questions are really good questions, and I personally like the idea of the 5xl 79Cm shirts! ( FINALLY some big shirts! YAY!!).

I think if the final cost were to be around $30, including postage and a small donation to the site, then everyone could be more than happy?

Cheers!

For the Perth ones you could just send them all to me and I could distribute
They will of course pay for the shirts before they are made and sent so I don't get stuck with a pretty box of shed rags

dattoman makes a good point, maybe a central person in each state recieves a box of everybodies from their state, and people go around and pick them up... maybe we will have to have a Forum T-Shirt Pick up cruise! haha another excuse for a cruise!!!

Looking at the Aust Post website shows that express post is probably going to be the best as it is bar-coded and is sent almost as registered mail.

I weghed one polo shirt i have ( not embroidered) and it came out at 260g approximately.

These are the prices off the website for Express post satchels:
500g satchel Ea:$6.80 10 pack:$64.60 10 or more 10 packs:$61.20

3kg satchel Ea:$9.70 10 Pack $92.15 10 or more 10 packs:$87.30

Standard parcel post works out to be roughly:
500g satchel (355 x 220 mm) Ea: $4.75 10 Pk:$ 45.15 10 or more 10 pack: $42.75

3kg satchel (405 x 310 mm) Ea: $8.40 10 Pk: $79.80 10 or more 10Pack: $75.60

Looking at the postage costs, It seems we may have ot up the price of the shirts if were to have anything left at the end of all this!

i think the express post satchel is the quickest and easiest way of distributing the shirts, and i think that 1 person per state doing so is a good idea.

Hey Knoath,

I think we should remove the orders from the forum and perhaps send you a separate "email" so you can keep an accurate register of orders and payment status.

That way you can tick them off as they come in and get sent off.

What do you think?
