Hi tiny a man like yourself might have contacts in the magazine business. If you have can you organise a photographer to be there. I wouldnt mind seeing my torrie in a magazine & I think the same with everyone who goes on the night ..What about windscreen stickers to show everyone who we are & where were from GMH-TORANA.COM.... I'll pay a little bit extra to show how serious we all are about our cars & the forum.. P.S plus its good for the forum & really see how many Holden + Torana blokes are out there.... Hey Jason!
All good ideas mate. I can certainly bring out some of the excess stickers that we had from ages ago for the night and i'll make some enquiries with a mate who also does write a mag!
Just another thing on that note, Ive spoken with Phill from badger Photography who will be there on the night, and if you do want to buy some photos of your car then the RIGHT lane ( closest to the grandstand) will give you the best pictures. Maybe if we buy enough photos we might even score a discount!

I think we should now ask some of the members from the NSW monaro club as Tiny suggested to join us as i know some are keen to race when we talked to some of them when we were in orange on the weekend.

Reason being I've taken a deposit on my car. I have to deliver it to Sydney so I should be able to get there and meet everyone I don't already know (assuming I can drop it off on Wed.).

Come on guys pull your finger out go down have some fun & support our holdens. You dont have to thrash the crap out of your pride & joy. Just take it easy get the feel of it you wont be disapointed & you will go again thats for sure, Im hooked & love it what a adrenalin rush not better then sex but its sure comes close ( SEX:yes Im doing that properly ) You have 6 days try fix what you can take it down go through scrutineering there not that tough go through the safety things,Battery,engine bay nothings loose,seat belt,if its a auto it dont start in gear, helmet,long sleave shirt & jeans with oil leaks if its not to bad give it a degrease just make it neat and you will have no hassles. take your rego papers just in case . if you dont race (have fun) come down.. Lets show all these DOOF DOOFS cars what holdens are all about. BORN & BRED TO RACE....JASON..

You only need to run your car as hard as you feel comfortable with on the night. Especially if your new to the drag racing game!
Looking forward to it! I've changed my tyres over, Removed all the car washing gear from the orange trip and the car is ready to run 11s again (Hopefully!!).
Cant wait to catch up with the guys ive met before, and to say Gday to the new faces who turn up! It'll be a top night!
