Well i invited a friend of a friend that ran a LX
Torana on the weekend at the creek,it runs
9.810 @ 151mph on pump fuel. not bad.

Hi guys your all getting me excited cant wait. Im going to try & get in the 11s best run is 12.31 @ 111.05mph on street tyres with these mph I should be doing 11.8s ,11.9s 60ft is letting me down 1.903 .I'll give it a good tune up & advance the dizzy & hope I get a better 60ft & Im there. I've got a full set of slicks got rims for the back but not for the front I'll just run the streets tyres for now. Its set up for the bottle 150hp & when I get the front runner rims on hello mid to high 10s... see all you guys there. Cant wait to see all your holdens It will be a great night....Jason..

Can't wait! Have been looking forward to running the LC for a long time! Not thinking about times too much, in my experience the bloody things never run what they're meant to! If I had of thought about it I would have booked a photographer from work to come and shoot for Xtreme Holdens. I'll see what I can do but I'd say I've left it a little late. See you there!!!!

well just a warning, im terrible with names, so even if i come do the awkward "whats your real name thing" by the time i walk away i will have forgotten it. im not rude, just really forgetful. Also what are half your real names?? it just seems a bit odd to call people by a screen name? or am i jsut weird?

I have found it best in past instances to identify people by Rob and the HQ... LOL Out of the Blue first time i met him was a co-incidence at Cronulla and walked up and said hi to himself and Simmo ( mean while their thinking who's this kid ). But was well worth it to get to know people! Then the next time, was our last cruise just started talking and met quite a few of you..... and i wasnt left out because of the Pulsar... There was a FORD there haha.....!

i was there, hiding in the stands with my old man and a mate. came down a few times, but everytime i was down there no one was with there cars!! spoke to josh for a while, waved and said gday to keithy (but to no avail, maybe he was too excited

did you catch the suzuki swift GTI that was running, was pretty forking quick.

If anyones wondering who i was, i was the short haired stocky kid in a black jumper with red stripes. i had my head stuck under tinys bonnet for a while, and under broads car. also stood talkin to josh behind his hatch for a while.

he got 3 or 4 runs im pretty sure. but i cant remember what he ran, was 15secs+ though, past that im not too sure.

Andrew/Chris should have introduce yourselfs as we where all hanging the cars in the staging area.....I was there with Dan (jnrGTR) and Terry (ALX76) seen some really good runs - Franks (GMH355) was a beauty 12.059@ 125 MPH.... good night.. shame not many forum members there, but it is start....We will do it again for sure.......

What a top night! First time I ran the LC best time of 14.6@93 which I was quite happy with. I ran a better 60 footer on 1 pass but missed third peg, so there's more in it, only got three passes cause I got there pretty late. Already consulted the Moroso which tells me that mph is good for a 13.9 
Was good to meet everyone and put some faces to names too. Had a ball, we should do it more often! Big thanks to Tiny for his tip top organisation skills in getting the night off the ground!
I took a few photos in the staging lanes and have aranged to buy action shots of Grant Stephens for a little feature on the night in Xtreme Holdens magazine. I've told Grant that I'll get together everyone in the lane's rego number and flick him an email so he knows what pics we need. So for the purposes of getting the images of your cars and me not stuffing up the story, if everyone in the lane could post up their Name, Forum Name, Model, Rego # and best time in the following format-
Andrew Broadley, Broads, LC GTR, BR04DS, [email protected]
That would be great! If you would rather do it by pm or omit certain details from the story like your full name or rego number then please let me know, but the rego number will help getting hold of the images. That's the plan anyway!
