everyone in the lane could post up their Name, Forum Name, Model, Rego # and best time in the following format-
Andrew Broadley, Broads, LC GTR, BR04DS, [email protected]
That would be great! If you would rather do it by pm or omit certain details from the story like your full name or rego number then please let me know, but the rego number will help getting hold of the images. That's the plan anyway!
Keith Cunningham, Keith1962, LH SL/R5000, AB72PQ, [email protected]
Should be [email protected] or 141.03KPH
cheers Keith

It has been a long time since the last GMH-Torana WSID Street Meet, but I was just wondering if there has been any talk about another night coming up as I would very much like to give the Torana another run after Supernats, but would prefer another Torana meet. I have no idea about arranging anything, but was just curious whether anyone was planning anything or if there is any interest in the topic?
I have spoken to Tiny and he has said that he isn't planning on doing anything for another 6+ weeks, but was just wondering if anyone was willing to organise something or if anyone would be interested.
Cheers
Mitch

Saw IMA400, Dirty Deeds, Chief, SUXGAS and a few others. Didn't get to talk to anyone as they were busy or MIA. Unfortunately electrical gremlins kept me on the back of the truck for the night and I didn't get a run.
Mark Hayes damaged his car after some crazy wheelstands and heaps of others hit the wall, one in front of D/Deeds !!
I think SUXGAS picked up a fair bit over his last PB.
Can't wait for the pics.
I also heard that Chad in the Land Rover drag car got out of shape at Powercruise and crashed, putting his co-pilot in hospital. Not sure of the details.
P.S. Deeds, you could do with a set of valve springs !!

As for the RX3 that hit the wall, that was scary. All I remember is that we both left the line, the RX3 went ballistic, hit the wall and threatened to cross over into my lane, thankfully ( for me ) it went back into the wall.
Mate, I near sh*t myself as I had just given the 308 a gut full of NOS and was flat out in 2nd gear. Somehow it pulled up and I escaped untouched ( cant say the same for the RX3 ).
Valve Springs....hmmm

That horrible backfire at revs. Thanks Struggler, but what makes you think I need valve springs??
DD
Either valve springs or timing/ignition.

Good pick up !!
That horrible backfire at revs is me hitting the rev limiter on the NOS.
I try hard not to do it but bloody hard on a 4speed and flat changing.
regards
