hi, we finaly got our lc to the strip on the w/end and to our amasment it ran to a fastest of 12.89 athough there was no mph recorded for that time slip as lane 2 mph was not working but it did 3 high 12's @ 105.8 mph back to back.the engine has got cast iron head, flat tappet cam, pump fuel.in a full weight 2 door lc (full interiour).

Thanks Hayden

Hayden, have you got dyno report on that motor? If so mind telling me what it made @ the wheels?
You can PM me if it is private....But I would think it would be a number to be proud of. :D

Cheers Greg..

Yeah thanks guys I know the theory. But I'm wondering if he has an actual read out to compare against the time slip.
My reason for this is that i'm not sure the Moroso slide rule works all that well for a 6 cyl application.

Cheers Greg..

Greg, no we have not had it on the dyno as yet as i tuned it myself, we may take it to the local dyno place in town unsure yet. but keep in mind we are using a 9" as well.we have talked to a few people and have got a rough hp increase from before as we have dropped 1 second and gained 10mph but no actual rwhp as yet.

Thanks Hayden

They are stout numbers for a manual 6. Sounds like a similar setup to mine although I use a muncie, SU's & a Hilux diff.I have run a best of [email protected] at the WSID in May with more to come.
