Well, its been a while, mainly because my LC GTR is still in the paint shop after being screwed around by the panel beaters. But good news is it is going to be ready in 5 weeks! Can't wait.

Although, there is a problem!........

The GTR doesn't know he has a little brother now... The HB Torana I have been working on the last two months in my spare time is now looking grumpier. Lets hope LC doesn't get too jealous.

Enough of the whimpy chat! I purchased this HB SL three months ago and have been working on it for the last two omths at night. I have; recessed the firewall 8 inches, cut and reshaped a new tunnel, reallocated the steering column and brake aster cylinder. I have tubbed it right out to the chassis (around 13"s). I have been building a 327 also for my mate and am now in the process of building the 383 stroker for the HB. I have a 9 inch on the way and will later ladder bar it, but for now will be using factory brackets.

The HB is tunnel rammed with two 650's on a 150hp of nitrous. The crank is eagle, the rods are H-beam eagle. The heads are going to be Brodix track-1's and the pistons are probe. Looking to hit around 500hp. Which isn't too bad for a burnout car.

To pretty things up more I have just purchased Weld prostars, 15x3.5 on the front and 15x10 on the back. The front tyres are MOROSO DS-2's and the rears are 255/50/15 Mickey Thompsons (Just for fun down the quarter).

I have done everyhting myself, just like the LC GTR, hope you like it.

Let me know what you think,
Cheers,
Take care.

Cheers mate, I'll try and send some soon. I'm spraying the engine bay in 2pak jet black solid base coat this week so it should look much cleaner. Well for a burnout car anyway.

Thanks heaps for your commments guys. The car should be finished within two months, making it an under 6 month build which is awesome. I will be posting more pics soon, so keep a watch out. Spraying the engine bay tomorrow, mounted the pro ratchet shifter and shortened the handbrake today along with more prep of the engine bay.

Cheers again guys. :spoton:

Also, yep-208 one piece of advice I can give is; dont be afraid to cut and shut things on the car. I haven't had any prior learning with tubbing, reallocating stuff, I just went for it, remember metal work isn't like wood work, at least if you cut too much out you can weld it back in, goodluck! :spoton:

I gather he will be keeping that paint; judging from the fact that it didn't have those stripes in the first pic. Nice plates too!!!

Thanks heaps guys, I am keeping it that colour by the way. Unfortunately I have just finished spraying the engine bay in 2pak basecoat jetblack (same as lc gtr undercarriage) and it has been a while since I have been spraying 2pak and there is crud loads of runs, but once it dries I will sand them out slowly (very slowly) with 1500grit.

Will send pics up tomorrow.

Cheers guys. :spoton:

great work adam.

Watch out for the fights, Introduce them in neutral territory.

I did that for Ruby (LX) when I bought Elsie (LC) home. But being that they are girls it may be a bit different. Elsie is having a spit atm as we r spending all out time gettin Ruby back on the road.

So if u do have continuing problems like I am having maybe we could do a swap.
