What does everyone think about a thermostat housing on the inlet manifold that looks like this ... Thermostat still sits in OK with a minimal bit of seeping possible around the outer edges, but should it be a concern?

Personally I reckon its stuffed. The only way to fix that is to remachine the 'stat groove and cut down the mounting flange so that the thermostat is held captive. As it is coolant can flow past the thermostat and out the bypass. The thermostat will also not be held captive and coolant will get past it. Anyway it will cause you grief.

Get rid of that KC manifold before it desolves before your eyes, fit a late model factory or the preformer you got

Hi
maybe try liquid metal in a tube. Put it on a clean surface & let it dry. it goes hard & then you can drill & fill the stuff.

It might work, you cpold only try
