The owner's name is Robby Bolger, he's flying the Holden/V8 flag pretty high against a whole lot of Nissans and Toyotas. His passion is admirable...but his manners leave a lot to be desired...read: He is a pretty big wanker.

He also has a Monaro and a Ute built to about the same quality. Smokes the tyres real good.

They are a "anal" lot those drifters!!

This quote gets me:
We all know that 99% of Aussie race fans are bogans and love V8's, thats why DA is marketing it as V8 vs Jap. This will bring the bogans to the events, which will bring sponsors with bulk cash.

I like to think of myself as a mature closet bogan nowdays
I only bring the flannie out of special occassions (and my dress thongs)

Robbie Bolger is a legend, does some wicked stunts and burnout displays, but I have heard he's a wanker lol.

When you see Robby drift with the ricers, to be honest, the ricers are a hell of a lot better to watch.

But atleast its nice to see V8 out there.

I could only describe his (Bolgers) drift style as sideways burnouts and he is the biggest wanker you'd ever (not) like to meet.

It's because the ricers are a hell of a lot lighter and can change direction quicker...you just can't fight gravity.

Bolger's equivalent in the US Rhys Millen (Son of Rod Millen - Pikes peak champion racing legend) competes in D1 America. Rhys used to drive a Pontiac GTO, but now has a Pontiac Solstice (Jazzy in Transformers!!). It's about 400kgs lighter lol and about the same power 550hp.
