it is hoohaa atm but with all the media attention on hoons the hoohaa could soon become reality.Steve Janda is an engineer, of course he "won't" mind if a random person calls him. It's his job.
Tare weight of LC LJ on my rego sticker says 1070kgs.
I still believe you can get it engineered, as I don't believe any laws have been changed yet and it really is just hoo-haa - for the time being at least.

thanks for the tip! does anyone do a conversion kit for the LJ LC i've only seen it for the LX LH UC?A chassis kit bolts from the firewall runs along the rails and bolt to the lower trailing arm at the diff and has a section across to join it together castlemaine rod shop sell them i would suggest you put one in it will make your car a lot stronger
