Well to put you all out of your misery. I will give you the story about our two Grid Girls.
The girl on the right is Ashley, and she is a member of our club, as is her dad.
She is an absolute champion!! We are very lucky to have someone in the club willing to do this on the day, especially in those boots!!
The girl on the left is Ashley's cousin, Cara. This is the first time that she has ever done this sort of thing. I would like to add that Cara only decided on Saturday that she would do this!! A big thank you for her as well..
For your interest, Ashley's outfit was sponsored by Just Nice @ Hamilton.
cheers
Mick

The Girls names were Ashley and Kara (I think) and they are Novacastrians.
Ash is a member of the HVTC and yes she has won Trophies for her LJ 4 Door known affectiobnately as "Gordon".
Her Dad "Peter Perfect" owns the Red XU1 beside her car. Pete is Treasurer and was run off his feet all day so he was glad that we all tretated the girls well.
As for the Music I have the full blurb on the tracks with accompanying text that goes with it.
As I am a Computer Luddite I cannot post it but if anybody wants to PM me I will send it to them.

a big thank-you goes to all the guys that helped us Victorians with accomodation.
the Canberra guys and Queensland guys were all very welcoming at the motel. and it was good to get to know new people.
and then it was good to cruise a few hours back with the Canberra guys...but next time we will go the right way!!!
always makes a better cruise with more toranas.
see you all next year, sounds like we are already planning Toranafest 2008.

If it was that one, I thought it was one of the best lokking cars there, but 25k is a bit steep. Was it a slr at all beofre the mod or a basi model. I was thinking more around 15k maybe. It was a Red Lh with a 5.0L injected 9inch and turbo700? and commodore interior
cheers julian

These are the only photos that I have of your cars- I was driving too, and just snapped where/ when possible.
I do have some other shots at the Toranafest, which is mainly limitied to detail shots of LH SLR 5000's.
I think Tiny may have some more pics, and there seemed to be other cars driving ahead along the way taking pics- I look forward to seeing them.
Your cars looked/ sounded awesome, and it was great driving up in your company.
Cheers
