Just want to put a coat of paint on the diff housing while it's out I was going to paint it in enamel or acrylic, what paint is on the diff originally and what do you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance

Is this on a LH torana- and what model.

My LH SLR 5000 has a yellow/ orange on the diff, but I am not sure if this is original, and even if it is I do not know the paint colour.

If it is original & you would like to colour match- and if you are in Sydney I would be happy for you to coour match off my diff.

Maybe someone can confirm.

LS2LXHATCH has used this on the diff & complete underbody. Looks the goods for a car that's going to be used as they should. :spoton:

I'm just painting it black it's just to look better than the chipped paint and surfice rust. I want to do it in original paint type so it wont react, crack, or fry.

Faith5000 I am in Sydney but I thought all diffs came out in black it's a LH and diff its black at the moment.

Por 15 I have heard of this product before I will be looking into it to do my floor so it could be the go.

por 15 is supposed to "hold rust together" and can be applied directly over rust

Bought some por 15 today so I'll see how it goes saw a sample on a rusty piece of metal and it seems to be very good stuff.
