4x4 manual g/boxes obviously not suitable.

SD1's had Borg Warner autos. I think the later ones were the common B/W 35, about the same size as Tri-matic which Geminis were fitted with.

The Dolomite that A9X mentioned may have had a Triumph alloy V8?
Look similar but aren't the same.

I just found, well was told thanks to Dave that Dellow Make a conversion bellhousing for a Supra 5-Speed to bolt up to a Rover 8 :D Perfect...

Is that sump u got for sale? incase I cant find one locally?

Top sump not for sale but you can have the bottom sump for price of postage if you want to cut it up. I have 2 of these.

Look similar but aren't the same.

The Triumph 3.0L V8 is a pile of junk, always popping head gaskets and the timing chains break at regular intervals. The Rover conversion is common amongst the Stag guys so I'd say this bloke did the same for his Dolomite. I'm considering fitting one to my Triumph 2000 that is gathering dust out the back.
