I thought I was buying a strip, body prep, and paint project with minimal rust. Just be careful what you wish for it may not be what it seems  .
No i'm not a panel beater I wish I was as I would have it completed by now.
Thanks for the coments.

Does anyone know where to get the Kemtex flux for lead wiping from? I tried Bakers but I feel its to severe. And how do you neutralize it so it does't cause a corrosion problem?

Water (and scrubbing) neutralizes flux, no idea where to get it, I haven't done that sort of thing for over 10yrs, might try a trade panel/paint supplier tho.

I'm not sure but I have a feeling baking soda also helps, I think it also stop bare panels from rusting if you intend to leave them unpainted for period. Anymore Ideas?

at work we make L.E.D signs and P.C.B's and to clean the flux off the boards after they have been through a flux wash we use isopropyl alcohol dunno if it worls the same for lead wipeing flux.......

I recieve my kit for lead wiping thursday. I have found out the following
1. the lead should contain no more than 18% tin
2. use a flux - lead paste to tin the surface. ie Kemtex
3. the baking soda in water does neutralise the acid when finished apply with a spong.
Supplier is sending a DVD on lead wiping as well. I will take some pics when I start .
