After 2 years of buying parts, cutting, grinding, welding, assembling, crying, hitting things with my biggest hammer, throwing things, here she is.

I'll post more info later but here's the basic rundown:

Fully built 202. Basically a lower compression "race" motor. All the good bits.

Microtech LT10s, KKR480 turbo, custom exhaust manifold, custom piping, 300x300x75 cooler, Bosch 044 EFI pump, Holley red, Malpassi rising rate fuel pressure reg, surge tank etc.

First I installed the new motor aspirated with a Varajet then later added the EFI and over the past few weeks the turbo, intercooler and all the other associated bits.

Heaps of other goodies, I'll go into more detail later. Estimating an easy 300hp at the rears on lowish boost.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. Makes it all worth it I think! :D

Ultimately I'd like it to run 11's on street tyres but it's gonna take time. I think it's realistically achievable.

I have plenty of pics of manifold and turbo, I'll post them up when I get a bit more time.

And the manifold isn't anything special. It was the best I could do with the VK EFI manifold in the way. Just a mild steel log manifold.

A fair bit of things had to be made from scratch to allow the turbo and associated parts to fit.

Alternator was relocated to RH top of the engine from the LH bottom with a couple brackets and adjuster I made which mounts to the existing air con compressor bolt holes on the VH head , trans cooler was mounted under the front of the car, custom piping was made from bits and pieces I had lying around from other cars at work, exhaust manifold was made from mild steel 1.5" steam pipe.

Dump pipe is 2.5" mandrel bent mild steel from turbo to just next to the box where it joins up to my existing 3" straight through system. LH engine mount was relieved and reinforced to clear the dump pipe.

Compression ratio is somewhere around 8.2:1, can't really recall anymore.

jap-xu1, whats wrong with the turbo?

I simply couldnt afford a GT35R. Would love one and will eventually buy one but I couldnt justify spending over double what the KKR480 was worth plus an external wastegate.

I've not heard much bad stuff about KKR. I know a few guys running the twin turbo KKR LS1 kits without an issue and a few with them on CA/SR/RB Nissans without an issue.
