Whaa? I thought that was on heaps of LHs. If that was a unique feature to the G-Paks then I know of a few that I've seen at wreckers. Bugger

Would appreciate it thanks, go you G Paks!!!!

Gotta say driving a six LH/LX is far more enjoyable than a V8 the steering is so much easier on me old arms!!

G'day Hawks, nice to see you again :P

Did you ever get around to making those G-Pak stripe masking aids of some description? Or find out the best way to do the stripes & insignia?

:D hawks,

I would be really interested in talking to you about those templates as I am about to start restoration of my Red and Blue G-Pak.

Hi Garry, the 'template' I have is just a G-Pak sticker that you put on the car, then mask off the other areas, paint your stripes and then remove the sticker to see the body colour left behind. So it is just basically a G-Pak sticker.

I do not have any masks for the stripes. The logo is the same size on the guards and rear as you know.

Here is my old car if you havent seen it before

IT'S A BONNET FFS!

and under it, you'll find a bog stock 202... The interior is the same as the one posted on page 2 of this thread...

:spoton:

And, while we're here: Your signature states both that real cars are made with spanners not chopsticks, and that your dream car is a Nissan 180SX... A bit of contradiction going on there?

I think Rhys Millen and Robbie Bolger will disagree with you there, Tubsy.

^^ Robbie Bolger will argue anything, though...

Why can't you drift a Torana? I'm sure with the same modifications as you'd do to a 180SX, an LJ could drift alright...

I've got no problem with Jap cars. I quite like a lot of them (1J/2JZ's :spoton:) It's just the fact that tubsy quite contradicts himself in his own signature :P

I'm fond of Jap cars as well. But CA motors suck balls.

maybe thats exactly what he is trying to say, he is saying his dream car isnt a real car, and that it is made from chopsticks.

I'm not articulating it very well....If you find black rear door trims without an armrest...it can be used in a G Pak..but I think "S" models (which is the base for a G Pak) were like this.

Ohh sorry I didn't really read it that closely. I got the impression you were saying that G-Paks were the only LHs with black interiors fitted with arm rests in the front but not the rear.

:D hawks,

As I said my son saw your car at the Summernats this year and took some photos of it to show me that a red and blue G Pak can look ok!

How can I get one or two of the stickers off you ?

So how exactly would you verify a gpak ? Option codes ? Did they ever come out with anything more exciting than a 202 ?
