You should be able to hook teh cannister to one of the ports on the base of the holley and thats all thats needed! the other is to the tank?
Correct me if i'm wrong though, but i belive it can be done!
Cheers.

Dont ask me wehre to hide it though.. i cant answer that! I want to do it on the monaro cause of a fuel overflow problem i'm having but i cant figure out where to hide it all!
It doesnt affect power.. all that will happen is the car will run slightly rich while the vapor is burnt off that's in teh cannister... it really is a good system.
Cheers!

Mine is currently underneath where the battery originally goes, I plan to move it up the back near the fuel tank.
M@
P.S. I use a VL commodore one, same as what came out in pulsars & camiras to name a few. It is a bit smaller than the Torana ones.

Generally you get a defect. Potentially, a $10K can be handed out.Whats the fine for not having it?

You should be able to find a spot up under the front guard.

It also has a part no. at the bottom 9946235 november 1976 and states that it should remain with vehicle at time of resale.

But im assuming hookup to a torana it goes, Tank-Canister-Inlet
just these newer cars have all the control solenoids etc running them that the older cars obviously never had

I know 320 Holleys have the fitting in the base plate to hook up the canister, but 350's don't.Green: i belive that it can all be hooked up even with aftermarket gear...

Could prolly swap base plates over though???

It is typically found in the post 76 v8 cars in the RHS exhaust manifold.

When the engine is cold the flap is closed, forcing the exhaust gases up the passage which goes thru to the inlet manifold. This pre-heats the inlet & provides heat for the auto-choke pick-up. The pre-heating is required because the emission type carbies run very lean & become 'unhappy' when cold without this heat. The gas then exits out thru the left-hand head & headers. When the engine warms up, the flap opens & the exhaust is then allowed to exit thru both headers as designed. Can someone explain what the flap in the exhaust manifold does?

Is the flap closed with the lever in the vertical or horizontal position?

And the lever (= weight?) would help it to open.

Actually I would think it would be the other way, if you look at tap handles on piping in industry the handle faces the same way as the flap/valve etc so if the handle is parallel with the pipe then it is open.If it's the same as the old 6 hotbox, the spring would expand with heat if that helps?
And the lever (= weight?) would help it to open.
As for the weight and the spring, same here, the weighted lever would hold it closed and as the spring heated it would wind it open????

It would depend on the orientation?
I've never seen one, just relating.
