I reckon if they bring out a Vauxhaull badged as a Torana, and any forum members buy one they should be banned for life from gmh-torana.com and have their Original Torana re-possesed.
Honestly, all of those pics look like jap/euro heaps of sh!t. If i want a car that looks like a Nissan i'll buy a Nissan, not a Torana. And if i suddenly wake up one morning and think "wow, I think im a homosexual" I'll buy a re-badged Vauxhaull.

The first torana was a rebadged vauxhal, dont forget that fact.
I think that no matter how much bitching and moaning anyone or any group does, they are still going to re-use the name.
You cant expect them to make the new torana anything like the old one, the majority share they are aiming at is not those who have the interest, moreso in those looking for a cheaper, mid ranged RWD sedan.
The performance option is there to satisfy those who have a bit of passion for the cars, but honestly if thye dont make it to make money then there isnt much point to making it at all.
