I missed this thread last time around... MAN that is a clean Torana!!! Very drool worthy, love that exhaust system and undercarriage. Top car overall too.... has it hit the strip yet???

i've seen it at the track a couple of times,sounded nice going past our pit but never seen its times,problem with crewing you never get to see any racing except
through the tunnel from the staging lane.

yes its been to the track a fair few times now. a best of 9.82 so far we will be at the western nationals this weekend. after that we will try and drop the times even further. its still black tracking for about a 120feet so we still have traction & suspension issues.

yes i like my job building the engines, its very satisfying. it makes it a little easier to get out of bed in the mornings

How loud is it and what size pipes are they 3"?

do you think the loudness of it would pass pits? reason i ask is that i will need to take mine over pit

its fairly loud, i dont think it would pass the pits unless they were all very deaf there.

its hooking up quite well but then its unloading the tyres and starts turning the tyres up to around 120 feet mark, its all over the track when it does this but it makes it quite entertaining to watch.

I don't think you will solve the traction issues without going to to a four link setup and good quality (designed for drag racing) shock'ys food for thought
