^^^ hahahah REPCO would be a good start na with the 5lt inj now i have now clue what ill need .

CHOPPER ill bring a 400w inverter if that will help with your power needs .

Rare Spares would be more useful i think! :D

I put the granny trans i got of Knoath some time ago in last weekend, works a treat and no leaks (Yet), the old one was clapped out and wouldn't have been happy with a little bit of abuse.

I also put standard UC sedan rear springs in it recently, (Again courtesy of Knoath's old UC) sits and rides much better, hopefully all this will get me down the track a bit quicker than 18 seconds

I can do a 800watt and a jump battery to run it off if needed?

LX2DR, do you have a rubber tailshaft for Kev's car?
It might suffer a bit of Makka syndrome.

Makka Syndrome:
Tailshaft runs through too many angles at once and tries to tie it's self in knots.

Likely result:
Chops out uni's.

Worse case scenario:
Tailshaft ends up on the drag strip looking like a pretzel.

Matty: Sorry dude.. i just sorta mis-read it and cracked myself up so i HAD to post it :P

Heathcote have always run 2 meets per day, and I'm sure they would be happy to have us stick around and watch! If you havent had your fill of racing by that time, ask them and see if they will let you in on the second half's racing ( Also if the ford mods group are happy of course!).

The more cars the merrier, Even if we were to have 80 cars rock up on the day it would still make for PLENTY of racing with no gaps!
I think last year there was 43 odd and we were all pooped by the end of it!

Please remeber too.. dont stress if the weather in melbourne is bad... Oh... hang on.. I'm NOT coming.. so it'll be perfect! LOL!

Enjoy yourselves peeps, Make GMH-T Proud!!

Nope, no rubber tailshaft, but i have a pot of rubber lube, might smeer a bit on it, that'll save it

Then again if we fix his rubber band he might go faster?

Hey LX2DR,
Can you get a hold of some arc welding rods?
I'll bring the jumper leads, file, and welding mask.
I have 2 x 500cca batteries between the Rangie and the Bombadoor.
Will that be enough to put his tailshaft back together?

Well unfortunately, I haven't been able to get a car ready for this drag meet.

I'll still be there to watch, film and hitch some rides across the track though.

Cheers,
Rick.

Yep, welding rods are easy, Ill even chuck in the auto welding mask so we dont get flashed

I might even bring the grinder to clean up after our selves so the job looks a little professional.

Are we supposed to be helping him or hindering him

If we are trying to hobble the boy, why dont i just bring the valve tool and deflate him a little :spoton:

Mate, if the new setup is half as reliable as the red clunker (Less the dickie shift!) you should be pretty happy, especially on a maiden voyage.

If I were to say that I might be in a car that has flames painted all over the front, would that be a good thing or a bad thing in relation to that statement? :tease: :tease: :tease:
