Well.. I only got my issue today and WOW!
All i can say is a big thank you to Andrew for not only coming out as a member of these forum, but also to put such a magnificent write up in his magazine!
I Appreciate the mention on being the organiser mate, but if it werent for all you members, we wouldnt have a forum! Let alone such a great one.
You all deserve a big pat on the back, and thanks again to andrew for being so kind to the forum and such a long standing member.

A mate took a copy around to my place the other night, I've gotta say I'm very impressed. 
I stoped buying holden mags because there was no old stuff in them, just commodores with big rims and cold air intake. Very nice to see some pre HQ cars in there. How about a torry only issue ? dont you guys miss going down to the news agent and picking up a triple pack of tory mags ?

mate next time i have a chance to scratch me bum and get to the news agencie i will grab you a copy.
I sold my car and thus am relying on my missus for transport around the place or borrowing the old boys ute. So i have to fit my crap in around theirs and let me tell ya, its a chore! but i should get there in the next few days. will let ya know.

Great work Andrew, the drag night writeup is great to see in a mag, and of course the rest of the mag is a great read too. I'm very impressed with the cover cars... especially since they're owned by the one guy, and I love how he painted them matching colours! That is HOT!!

I picked up a copy a week ago, mainly because it had a torana and the Supercharged Vp V6 EH. I didn't realise that Broads is the editor?? i think.

I sold my VR commo and havent been able to get my VT registered yet (again no time)
Looks like i wont be able to get there thisarvy either judd, BUT im going shopping tomorrow night, so i can grab it then hopefully.

Thanks everyone for the feedback on the mag. I was particularly happy to snag those two cover cars for that issue, I think they look great, particularly together. They're owned by a really good (and lucky!) bloke too who was happy to have us shoot them and I believe is stoked with the final result. Just for the record he also owns an A9X-styled LX hatch with gold Simmons and a blown 308 - it seems he has a bit of an insatiable thirst for tough Holdens

It's possible that they may have sold out on the shelves and have more stock out the back, or in some cases not even stocked it in the first place. HEY guys what do u think of the orange LH torana in there shes my baby Im proud of her she looks the part on the sun set at the water side I recon I just hope they will let me get a copy of that pic so i can blow it up and put it in the lounge room.

Sorry about that guys.. i'm still new at torana's so you'll have to forgive me about that one..In the letter 'Love The Flares', you replied that L8 was an original SL/R 5000, and therefore the flares were factory fitted... Only A9X's had factory flares...
