Gday guys
Iv had my fuel sender unit in pieces for a while and cant quite remember how exacly the sender unit is wired, there is a flat wire on the inside of the unit which is attached to the outside, cant remember if there is some insulation along the line.
I could probably work it out but dont want to risk it as i dont want to blow my self up
Some pics of the fuel sender would be great
Thanks

Next question is, is th Kingswood fuel sender the same resistance as the LJ Tori? Will the Kingswood sender work?

Thanks Jap, what i want to do is use the original LJ sender with original LJ gauge.
Unfortunately i havr taken the flat wire off the sender (the part which goes inside the tank and i want put that wire back in its correct way, im assuming its insulated from the metal top? But i want to confirm that with someone with pics or info.

In this pic it look as though the flat wire is insulated from the metal top. Is this correct?

I dont think you will have to many problems with sparks either way.

Its only sending resisted negative signal to the gauge, no positive in the sender unit.

Cheers.
