Gday all

just thought i'd introduce myself, being new to the site and all :spoton:

my name is Ray and im from Adelaide S.A.
having owned 5 toranas...my first car at 16 - lj 2door 173 4spd, an lj GTR 202 4spd with xu1 goodies, an LH 4door 202 auto, and our current "daily driver" LJ 4door 186 auto and a LC 4door parts car....you might say I have a bit of a soft spot for the mighty torries
have also recently restored a 1962 Holden EK Special station wagon
living close to the Holden plant here in Adelaide most of my life must have rubbed off on me....luv Holdens ...heres a few pics...

hi luke, yea the whitewalls & rims really set it off hey :spoton:

- rims are 14in HT/G -they came out with 13's

gday tyre fryer and smeer, Im from Salisbury Pk. - the other side of Harry Bowey/Carisbrook Pk

entering the EK in the Riverland auto expo next w/end - 24th, anyone heading up?

Blue Motor and new exhaust going in the LJ in the up and coming weeks

yes mate its a charger "swing open" style fuel cap, pic was taken straight after it was resprayed & polished

I know what you mean about the second home :spoton:

pretty frustrating when you cant access the site for a week or so though :cry:

about the EK - it took us about 5 years (with a budget tighter than a fishes ....) to get it on the road
and to this day is still a work in progress - with interior and a few bits n pieces to finish off
the motor is a red 186s steel crank/rods, flat tops,minor port work - set up for ulp,with a 35/75 cam, redline manifold and 465 Holley
also has a 3spd syncro flr shift, HR front with Torana discs and calipers

sorry about the delay in posting - good to see the sites all up and running again :clap:
