are manual and auto pedals from UC and LX the same? as in would they both be interchangeable?

the reason im asking is because i might be swapping an auto from my LX for a 5 speed from a UC. so the bloke with the UC would be fine and i would have to buy an LX clutch as the UC wouldnt fit?

The UC brake pedal is different to the LX in that the pivot pin for connecting to the vacuum booster rod is 8mm lower on the UC and should be used with a UC brake booster.

Hmm excuse my ignorance, but didn't some late LX's come out with the same booster as UC's? or vice versa; I thought there was some overlapping there.

Correct, there was an overlap but most LX's copped the straight pushrod type.

It's the same with the clutch pedal, early UCs still use the same clutch linkage & pedal as LXs.
