John,
Great spray job! What shade of green is it? Did you use acrylic or 2pack?

Cheers,
Brett

Mate you plough thru those suckers, well done.

But I must say thats the weirdest vedoro green I have ever seen. It looks like the old VS statesman green.

Hey who does your trim work? Fitting the seat covers?

terrible shame its no longer avalible. i wonder how many people would need to express an interest to get a more accurate reproduction done?

it is easily in my opinion one of the more appealing interior colors in the lc lj range and the fact it is factory on many gtrs will mean that there will be demand for it in the future surely?

beautiful gtr gong!

Jesus Tuffgong, I probably wouldn't want to run into you in a dark alleyway!! :tease: (just joking...please dont hunt me down).
Back on topic...That is an awesome looking car.
Do you do all of these all by yourself? Bodywork etc?

Its popularity is increasing. Some of the reproduction available is very close.. if you had a whole car re-trimmed you wouldn't know the difference. Most original sandalwood trims become so dirty, water damaged etc that there is noticeable discoloration between panels.

The rare bits are carpet and seatbelts.. I'd kill for accurate reproduction of these.. for now I have to live with darker tint carpet :(. Factory sandalwood seatbelts are too dark also.

The repo isnt even close, we have been thru this already,

After anther interested customer had sigthed the real and the copy...they rated the copy at 65%....

that was an unbiased opinion..they didnt no what either was worth at the time..

they still would go real stuff if available even tho its expensive

i wouldnt say repo is close..i would say its cheap if you dont have the odd 2k to throw at your seats
