Adjusting YT Roller rocker

with a 308 if it has std rockers then you will need to file the bottom of the pedestals or shim them with washers depending on what you need, with the V8s i always go through the firing order that way i dont miss any, i do it with the engine off and set the preload 1/2 a turn from zero lash.if its a solid then i get the motor up to running temp then shut it down and do it according to firing order that way they are all exactly the same clearances.
