There you have it, without the bonnet scoop. Note front under grille, bottom of nose cone is all black.

So did all the LH L32 SLR's have the torana badges on the nosecone?And the black stripes down the side?

Yes the LH did have the T O R A N A badges across the front apron. The badges often come up on Ebay or Rare Spares sell them individually I think they are $9 - $10 each letter.

The one pictured is a 3300, the 4.2 L ones have SL/R badges on the front guards instead of the 3300 ones I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong here fellas.

No they had 4.2 Badges on the front guards. (well mine did before I removed them and the T O R A N A letters on the nose cone)
I also have a rear photo of my old car so when I get it uploaded will post another pic. You cant see it that well but like the yello pic above mine had black at base of nose cone and under doors and up tail light area below boot...pic coming soon..

Ok here is a very early shot of me and my car (circa 1981) sorry its cloudy and car is dirty... I was at a MotorKhana at Termora NSW. Gee I even have have stock wheels in this shot...The SLR Hubcaps were removed. If you look closely you will see the 4.2 badges on the front guards. And of course the torana letters on nose cone.

here is the rear shot (much later) but has the letters L H on the left side of number plate which the previos owner fitted...also note car has Ford Mirrors fitted... something even my current LX Torana has... which is freaky.

ROFLMAO, maybe we should have a Daggy 70's/80's Pics of Me and My Torana pics. I have a similar pic of me and my first LH 2850. Car was only 10 years old back then, and a lovely Persian Sands II Metalic.

You reakon thats a good photo ... I have a better one of me leaning on a Wild Violet 72 XA Fairmont V8 back in 79...(the car I had before the LH) ...... I'm wearing platform shoes with Flared Jeans....I'll have to dig it out for another laugh :spoton:

Hi, I own a genuine L32 S/LR, and it looks the same as the yellow car pictured, except on the on the L32 it has 4.2 litre badges on the front guards, and the S/LR badge at the back is on the right of the number plate, they also had the torana badge across the boot lid.
