949 (1972)

The 949 was generally used on Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May 1972 built XU-1,s. They have rubber fuel lines and were cast in 1971. Brass tag 3521.

226 (1972)

The 226 was generally used on late May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov & Dec 1972 built XU-1,s. They have metal fuel lines and were cast in 1972. Brass tag 3547.

226 TCX (1973)

The 226 TCX was generally used on Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May 1973 built XU-1,s. They have metal fuel lines and were cast in 1972. Brass tag 3547.

T226 TCX (1973)

The T226 TCX was generally used on Jun, Jul, Aug, & Sep 1973 built XU-1,s. They have metal fuel lines & were cast in 1973. They also have a different housing to any other. Brass tag 3547.

Note the difference between the 1973 226 & T226

The 2 important numbers to remember are 949 & 226 for your genuine LJ GTR XU-1 175 CD-2 Strombergs, 128 for your genuine LC GTR XU-1 150 CD Strombergs.

What are those tripples originally off

They came with a ck car

The first carbie has number 3161 then 849

second carbie 3161 then 935

third cabie 3161 913

Inlet manifold, brackets & accelerater rod are genuine. The carbies are not and appear to be volvo ?

Hi thanks for that will start hunting around for some genuine cabies, Any differents between them and the volvo or is it just the numbers.

Have a look in the price check section. Johnno (Meanmachine72) has a couple of spare sets. There are differences, but only minor !!!!
