15PNK chev torana hatch rebuild

update on the progress of the hatch rebuild, since its been off the road in the garage

front end has been pulled out an cleaned and painted, ive ordered all new nolathane bushes which r arriving Tuesday,its had all new ball joints fitted.putting the steering rack into be reco'd on Tuesday as well wen the new bushes get pressed in hopeing to hav it all back in the car on the weekend. then can start getting the body ready for the paint.

update, my bushes arrived front end has started to go together , my steering rack is in getting rebuilt hopefully that will be finished by Friday if not then early next week and picking up my new shockies sometime this week

Just wondering how much the steering rack rebuild is costing as i think it's about time i get one done to the lx.

got my steering rack back today and my new shockies :)
it costed $250 to get rebuilt

Are you going to get the rear seat trimmed to match the buckets? That would really set the interior off.

you worry too much its fine aslong as u let it sit in the sun and then sand it back before you paint it

i was bored today and thought i would take some new pics of the hatch i even got a video im going to upload to youtube not much has changed on the hatch in the last few weeks, i picked up a straight bonnet an front nosecone panel thats gonna get sanded back an primered an put on soon

small update on the hatch haven't been really doing much on it lately
gave it anew coat of matt black acylic paint and put all the chrome back on also
bought a manifold for it thats going to be going on next week and im gonna get a k&n filter (same as Nathans) and have it out the bonnet

IMO id keep it all under the bonnet, has nice lines.

looking good, nice tuff hatch you got there. just letting you know that i have a BRAND NEW est of red 3point harness's if you were interested in them. i got them for my LH but i didnt realise that they had to be mounted to the parcel shelf and i dont wanna loose my 5 seat capacity.
but yeah, the hatch looks great.

Yeh i know she tends to drive them with more primer than paint. Cost ineffective lol.
