Hi Bazza.Yes all Adelaide cars are body colour under parcel shelf.My '73 Bathurst Adelaide car was like that.Cheers Glen.

That's good to know and a bit of a lesson (here's me thinking mine was wrong) I have to say though, that I haven't actually seen a picture that hasn't been black under the shelf with half black hinges.

I guess that makes Glen's wrong?

Hold the phone! There are 2 mid '72 Adelaide XU-1s on AMC at the moment and they both have black in the area in question. I think more research is needed.

Here she is now...
Funny coincidence... On the 19th dec (5 years on) I was also like a kid waiting for christmas, I picked her up on the 20th and got her home on the 21st.
