From your post in the other thread sounded like it would be a pig but from the pics mate its 100% to what you described. Pitty about the rust in the arch and rear door though. Has the SLR dash cluster aswell which is quite sought after these days as people hoard them in their sheds. Keep us posted!

I think your have done well....I can see a fair bit of work ahead of you but I'm sure it will pay off.

If you don't like the look of the bonnet i am absolutely sure a monaro nut will buy it off you..I saw a monaro bonnet go for $1000 the other day...so even if you got half that I am sure you would be happy.

well thanks guys, yer most of the hard work is done, new suspension, busses ect, so its nice and firm on road, also has front and rear sway bar, interia was redone so its not to bad, i just need new carpet and a few bolts here and there and the interia would look good, i need the bolts that bolt the console down, so if any1 has a complete console in really good condition pm me, or if u have the bolts pm me,cheers heaps...

Nice one TK !! Looks like you got a good buy there and at a decent price too :spoton:

I like the bonnet, it's different but not out of place. The SLR steering wheel and dash are a great score too, a few hundred dollars worth thats for sure.

Dunno about the console bolts. I just went and had a look at my LX and Ive taken the console out and there is no sign of the bolts  They will be in a box somewhere in the shed (I hope) so I may be in the same boat as you... doh.

Whole car looks better than what I expected. Bonnet is interesting, i don't mind it though.

Interior looks clean as but IMO you've got your work cut out for a while. A new set of wheels would really get it looking schmick! :D

Cheers

Hi
I was expecting a rough car by the other posts however the bright red paint and hotwires look great. It looks like theres some small rust spots however as long as repaired the right way your car should last years if looked after. Engine bay looks nice and tidy and the six looks a treat. Good luck

Thats a nice score, I'd imagine at some stage in its life someone spent a bit of money on her!

Get stuck into her with a good clean up and enjoy!!
