As found hereDude on ebay is claiming his rare UC Hatch is one of 1600 built. Apparently this hatch was driven in by Brock (he didnt specify Peter) and that the car was used in the UC promo ads.
I know there were over 8000 LX hatches but only 1600 UC's? Seems a bit low.

and sometimes they f@#k them by trying to make good better. The LH,X are great examples of a good look car that been hit by the ugly stick. What were they thinking when designing the UC. They would be in the top of ugly holden built carsI always got told, when buying a holden, you buy the middle model out of the 3, as in HG, Hk, HT, or LH, LX, UC. You don't buy the first one, cos it will be riddled with problems. They always fix it on the second one, then they go overboard on the third!
Although, with regards to the other models, there are 4 or 5 in series
