I would leave the exterior untouched, just put in a v8 with a nice quiet exhaust system and keep telling people its only a sunbird

I wouldn't dream of modifying it!

Springs and wheels, and vinyl only!

- oh and window tint....
- oh, and window black outs....
- oh, and a 304....

hahahaha, THATS AWSOME MATE!!!!! im speachless!! i may very well just keep this little beast. i cant wait to show dad your photo, you've dont well!
how much do you reckon it would cost to make it look like that and also if i want ed to keep the car i would be after a touch more power, not alot, dont want to chop and change engines but just a little something that stops it being so lady like. haha. any ideas??

hahaa, nice thinging, ive expolred a bit with changing the engine, for me, someone with no real money to throw into this project i cant justify it. lets say 7-10k to do it all properly including someone to fit it all for me, it will be too much kanga in the end.
i wanted to go a 202 origionally but i was told to stay away, supposedly they are less powerfull and less fuel efficient then a 308?? but im not sure. id love to not have to worry aboujt fuking around with diff, brkes, gearbox but it has to be done.
im open to ideas though, not forgetting that im only a student.
cheers james

I would try to find a rusty sedan with good running gear to use as a doner car, and there may even be some forum members who live near by who would be happy to help you put it in
