350LH, they are a 16x8 with a +4 offset (from memory). They appear at this stage to clear everything, although it is very close on the front guards, but with a bit of neg camber they should be ok. All guard lips have been rolled.

Thanks mate, yeah I trial fitted some 16X8 04 Neg superlites that someone lent me to try, and they were about just past the guard so I figured the 04P should do the trick, nice to hear you've already managed to fit them under. The blue looks good too, I'm going for formula blue (VK Brock)

Looking good, keep the updates coming!

Hahaha about 5 minutes after Welby left, discovered I'd forgotten to switch the fuel pumps on again. Fired straight up and idled, over the moon.......will have more updates tomorrow. Brakes are 75% plumbed, might take it for a spin around the block tomorrow!!

CRANK IT EVERYBODY!!!!

So far so good, have only run it about 1/2 an hour. Back at work now for 4 weeks so it's just sitting there. Will have the mrs fire it up once a week for me, just let it get hot and sit for a little then shut it down. Super keen to get home to get the glass in it and bleed the brakes so I can put some road km's on it. Very keen to get the current running in oil out as well, because the vasoline I used to pack the pump has made it go white. I might even drop it anyway and put fresh running in oil in before I drive it.

Ok guys, got a basic wheel alignment done on Friday, took it for a brief drive yesterday. Today took it for a bit of a decent drive along the Mundaring Weir road, Perth peep's would probably know it's a great bit of road, with nice rolling hills perfect for loading her up during running in period. Some pic's when we got home tonight, not the best she needs a clean!

I'm pretty happy, sticks to the road like shit to a blanket. Still have to put sway bars on, and resleeve master and put a smaller brake booster on, pedal is super soft.

Regards,

Dave

Oh, the air cleaner through the bonnet is temporary, all I have until I get a smaller one, and then the hood scoop will go on.

*edit: Thanks Mick!!*

Nath it felt bloody awesome. As expected some things that need to be done here and there, but it still feels great on the road.

It could do with some more castor, doesn't self centre enough and is still a little light. sway bars are next on the agenda though. It's got so much torque, just pulls really well from a lazy 2k, have only had it up to about 3.5k, but as soon as there's about 500km on it, I'll get it on a dyno, sort mixtures and timing, and then light the wick!!!

Thanks again for the kind words.

Dave

PS: Welby the rims are just spot on, couldnt be happier. Went with the Dunlops having seen how happy you've been with yours.
