that is great quality and easy to follow does a diagram for LX exist im trying to work out a few wires in the engine bay loom

Does anyone have a wiring diagram showing LX dimmer switch wiring?

The microswitch on the blinker stalk has 3 terminals but I only seem to have 2 wires (and no lo beam)

Only two wires on the column dipper switch.

Item 11 on the attached diagram.

The LX headlight relay is a bit weird, not like your normal relay.

The LX relay was quite simple,the lever from solenoid would push down on the left hand leaf spring causing the right hand leaf spring

which had the contacts to move left leaving the "V" of the right hand leaf spring more or less in line with the lever from the solenoid,when the solenoid was energized again the lever would push the right hand leaf spring with the contacts to the right and the left hand leaf spring and it's "V" would move right ready for the next cycle over and over,it simply flip flopped the right hand leaf with the contacts to

high/low contacts within.

Believe or not i have heard that some Volvo's used a very similar light relay ?
