gmhman thanks for the comments. They are made up of a mixture of parts, the rotors are approx 350mm and the calipers are Baer/PBR twin pot sliders that were from GMC trucks in the states with custom brackets to mount them. Hopper Stoppers look like they make a similar kit that looks resonable for the price.

Make sure when you look into getting your wheels that you check all the offsets and backspaces before you buy. I used a few different types of wheels with different back spaces to make sure I could get the biggest wheel possible in there.

I then had the ROH guy come out and measure up with all the wheels I had so he had reference points. There is a join in the front wheel well that I had removed and boxed for more clearence which helps.

Also look into the rolling diameters of the tyres that you choose too. I had to trim the front flare to help with clearence. They are 255/35/18 on the front.

IFA355 is your diff shortened at all and do they make those rims in torana pattern
or are they HQ
Were they custom made or can you walk into any ROH dealer and order them?

efiXP yes the diff is shortened I think it was an inch each side. I have spacers in there now though because when ROH came to measure they were going to be 11.5 on the back instead of 10.5 but once he put them order in they would only go to 10.5 inch. They are commodore stud pattern. They were custom made I had they ROH guy come to measure them.

A pic I saved earlier. Simmon's FR's, but I think they are too fussy.

I love Aggro's wheels. I'd be inclined to go that way. Design simplicity.

...... and it was at about that time that the originality dudes started developing large migrane headaches.

The fact that the Torries are so versatile shows you what a great design they are/were.

yes ss hatchback they are 17's. 315 wide on the back. New owner says they scrub soon as any one sits in the back. Car runs shortend vs diff and the guards are cut under those flares. Didnt pay attention to the fronts i was to mesmerised by the width of the backs.

I may have come in a little late here but does anybody know the colour of the dark blue hatch first seen on page 2 of this thread.

I am hoping it is Deaville (sp) blue, a 77 colour. If not, what colour blue would it be?

Any info is much appreciated.

Cheers, Max

As i said on aussiev8s last nite ss, your car looks awesome with the fr's on it. So many nice wheels in this thread.

There is a range of wheels in the ROH range thats called the modular range - these all can be custom made to suit your car. The chicanes were in this range but aren't made anymore, but the modena's are modular - check their website for more info.

Also im a bit shocked litre8 hasn't been mentioned or 2tough or toranamatt's hatch. They all have awesome 17's on them!
