hey guys, i bought this ute about 4 yrs ago now and it was off the road for the last 2 and a half. the last 6 months ive been getting into it and finally got it to a stage where i'm happy with how it looks and runs.

it was a standard 161 with 3 speed manual with 4 wheel drums.

it now runs a 202 with trimatic and i have fitted Vn commodore discs and calipers to the front with a vn master cylinder as well as a vn commodore disc brake diff (i was lucky and can't believe how well the width of it fits under the ute. so needless to say it stops great now and i nearly put my head though the windscreen the first time i tried the brakes.

ive fitted 16 inch commodore wheels with whitewall inserts (flappers) and the good old flat black paint with a bit of art ( more to come). It had a share of rust but it was all cut out and new metal welded in. The spare tyre door was toast so i deleted it, folded up a new skin and smoothed the back off and frenched the number plate.

anyway here she is, though you guys might like a peek. cheers

They look a bit like Walkies to me, Heath.

Nice ute, and a good tip re: VN diff being about the same width as HK...

Bloody oath good spot. I thought they were like Toranamatt's wheels but smaller and painted (judging from the first pic). For some reason I didn't look at them in the other pics :fool:

Cheers
