Hi, just wondering what the widest wheels i can fit on my Non flaired Lh
I was thinking about 235"s at the rear and 215"s at the front, 13"s that is, would really appreciate it if i can get a reply within a couple of hours as im going to look at another set of wheel with big tyres iv bigger tyres than i think can fit on a non flaired lh,cheers beau

it really depends on the offset of the wheel, ive got 225s on the rear of my uc - i think i could possibly go to 235. But i know with many wheels you would probably struggle to fit 225 under an unflared torry

Cheers

Jaime

edit; sorry i forgot to add mine are 15's, so even if you find the right wheels, im not sure if there is much variety or availabilty in tyres for 13's

With the correct offset rim and not-too-wide tyre, a 16x9 should be achieveable. I think somebody has previously posted they have done this, thanks to the help of ROH actually coming out and personally measuring the vehicle.

you could get a 265 with the right offset I reckon. I have had a 245 on a 17x8 rim under with room to spare

Yep you could go wider on the back providing the offset is suitable. I wouldn't try and go wider on the front though. And >205 R13 tyres are so expensive it would be better to have only two (for the back)... I'd stick with 205s on the front. Keeps the steering kinda light too.

the biggest thing people are missing is: how low do you want your car

wide tires under stock guards need tractor ride height

that is not true, 245/50/14, lowered fairly low, no mod or rolling of guards, clears and doesn't scrape

I thought the same thing until I saw the photos of Makka's car with the big five spokes on it. I still don't understand how it fits like that

I used to have 14x7 fronts with 245/50/14 and 14x8 rears with 265/50/14. No scraping on LX Hatch without flares but with rolled lips and flattened firewall. Fronts were same offset as Honeycomb HJ-HZ rims. Rears were same offset as fronts with 15mm added inside and 10mm outside.
