Year One in the states are reproducing the 15 *8 and even making larger 17*8 rims in cast - 17-18 * up to 9.5 wide billet rims too. The billet don't look as good as the standard look cast.

THE RIMS WERE ON THE 77 SE TRANS AMS. Holden would have just sourced a set from pontiac to fit.
This "limited edition" was actually an add for the upcoming A9X. The yellow car shown was simply a show car nothing more and many show cars in those days were crushed or used for crash testing.

Why would you want a yellow Torana hatchback with flares, front and rear spoiler, a bonnet scoop and a rear wiper?

Just strange, IMO!

Hi is it just me or does this look like a sunbird hatch with a A9X bodykit fitted to it, it looks to have sunbird seats and it also has the chrome trim around the tailights.
If it was only for show could even of had a opel motor.

Finally got my original 15 X 8 WS6 Snowflakes - The original yellow concept had 15 x 7's - Year One in the US sells them for around the $6-700 mark - They even do 17X9's in cast and 18 and 19's custom width/offset in billet.

heres are pic of mine

funny about that as it was the prototype body kit for the A9X ! according to leo pruneau it was on display in the gmh foyer for a period of time after that show and most of the nformed journo's ' would walk past it oblivious to the fact that the 'show car' was wearing the A9X body kit !

Leo you need to write a book !
