Hello all
need some opinions on my rear chassis rails, things seem to be getting a little out of my league so just want opinions.
this pic shows the approx shock location with the trailing arms at approximate bump stop level, the shock will be approx 2" shorter when at ride height.
What do you think of the front section where it goes on an angle and picks up the standard chassis. I was thinking of maybe going straight to the trailing arm mount to make a full chassis then maybe another section at 90deg to meet the sill panel??? the shock is not in its correct location here
just another pic without the shock in location

oh yea the box is anly 50x50x1.6 for testing
tomorrow i will get 50 x 50 x 3mm
Mcdonald bros do theirs out of 50x75 but i dont really want to chop the floor under the seat or at the back of the car where the exhaust/ fuel tank will be going.
50x50x3 should still be a lot stronger than standard.
by the way the tubs measure 380mm wide so far
