I've never had any issues

If all you want is a kit fitted then any transmission place should be capable.

I had a a good trimatic built by Peter Versma.

Stone Racing Transmissions also have a good reputation for performance gearboxes. According to Perth Street Car Vol 15 No 2 they are currently building 1000hp 4L60E transmissions with an unconditional 2 yr/40,000km warranty.

Peter Versma built my G/box but it doesnt look like he is doing much any more. he only looked at my G/Box last time cos he originally built it

I told him if the T350 that I have doesn't work (not one of his... bought s/h) the car will get left in his driveway till its fixed... he said OK... lol

As long as he doesn't sell up and move house that is

I'm going to bali for half that time so i wont even be thinking about it, and then once im back to work it'll be chaos so will fly by!

Only one drawback turns out i don't have a th-400 when i dragged it out of the shed its a th-350, so another day or so wait for correct parts and off she goes.

its not a draw back, nearly all the builders i have talked to(well veersma an dimoff)
reckon T350 is better box as it has lighter spinning mass and takes less HP drive it.

I'm not whinging its definately a bonus i'm just kicking myself that i never took the time to look at it and just assumed it was what it was said to be that came with an engine. Less HP drain the better, the 9" will zap enough.

one of the lads here at work wanted some auto bits and i remember reading he was on the same street as work. Did a search for the details and thats how the thread came up.

Didn't read the date till Jeff pointed it out.

By the by, can't find those trans lines for you and funnily enough, now need a set for the young blokes LH

Well the place I worked before this place sold straight 5 ft lengths of trans line... if you think that could work and be bent to suit I can get you a price

Or we could just make some up with my fancy flairer (if you have a bench mounted vice - strong and sturdy)

They also sell trans parts... what ya need ?
