Just got the images back for the Shannon's Ad in Precious Metal magazine. Dunno which images they are going to use yet, but we'll see.

The second pic looks like you have a coil spring stuck to the bottom of your drop tank.

Hahahahaha, yeah, that is what they call 'Art' chops, think it's spose to be a bike rack. Spring's a bit big for the car, and don't think it's a lowered spring.

Yeah, agree 100% bout the random model, only thing spoiling the pics really. Shoulda shaved before-hand, the pics are such high res, that the close-up shots you can pic ever single whisker in my face. Original pics are bout 7mb. Spent all my time preparing the car, and not the model.

Hair dye??? I's just a kid, either that or I don't let the stress get to me.

Yeah never know ya luck if ya catch me on a good day SL/R SS A9X.

Forgot to mention, there's more pics in the Members Toranas section.

Looking tops yella, second shots angle makes the thing look phat as with the drop tank.
I liked the comment about the spring chops, I was thinking a similar thing

Nice Job HaHaHa, the photagrapher couldn't even hold the camera straight OR isya parked on a hill and you have to stand on that side of the car to stop it from sliding.

Sort of like an anchor

Good lighting, good angles and can even see your club's website on the drop tank :spoton: :spoton:

Very hard to take a decent pic when the sun's shining, good shots.

Regards...................Barry.

Speaking of the Club sticker, i think it's awesome when the leave it in the pic. I noticed in Street Machine, you can see Graeme's Torana Club sticker on the L34 which is great for promoting the club; it'd be a shame if they photoshopped it out.

Congrats anyway Pat, and as for Brocky, your photo collection has some competition here muahahaha.

The photographer's copyright instructions insist that you have to include "Image by seventyeight.com.au" so if you can just include that somewhere, somehow.

Tiny, rain! Um yeah. Well we stood around like prawns going off in the sun waiting for this cloud to go infront of the sun to get diffuse light. Another hour and a half later, and 50,000 shots, it bucketed down, drove home in the rain.

Barry, again, it's this weird thing called "art".

G'day Pat,

You can thank 05-Brocky-05 for jogging my memory..

Jade and I attended the 2003 ToranaFest in Newcastle and I had my trusty old (new back then) Canon G2 Point and shoot camera and snapped a few of your car..

Posted Image

It would have been heaps better if I had my current camera on the day, but I reckon it turned out OK. - hope you like it..

I will PM you a link to the Hires one if you want it...

We took about 170 pics and most of them are being uploaded to our site as I type...

www.driftkingphotos.com and look for ToranaFest link

If there is a more appropriate place to post this link for others to see the pics, please feel free to put it there also...

Yeah, no gold is a different paint code altogether.

The dude asking me the questions nearly fell over backwards laughing on the floor when I told him that.

Glad to bring a ray of sunshine to your day Em.
