Barry I will be heading up to Newcastle early Friday. Probably travelling in convoy with WYLDLC 6 (Chris) and Peter_UC (Peter). I believe we are planning to leave Melbourne around 2 or 3am Friday morning.

That sounds good, but i don't know if we will be that far along by that time. I mean we will have to stop all the time for Chris to fill up.

Leaving Melbourne at that time 2-3am will put you close to Goulburn at 9.30am so if you give Alan a call when you are near Yass or a bit more, we can wait that bit extra time

If you get up at the Sparrow's fart of 2am then meeting at Cold Bum

I lived in Goulburn for 2.5 years when working at an open cut mine and it is a VERY cold place, even in early Spring.
Regards ............... Barry

The original link can be found in the Harry Firth Dinner thread, maybe try that one? Apart from that I will let the organisers email you one or work something out.
Herne
Link for entry form not working for me. Any suggestions?

I will answer your questions in one go..
Whats the cutoff for pre entry? 1st of september?
Pre entry cut off is the 1st September. as the entry form states "after the 2nd you MAY NOT recieve a goodie bag and T shirt".
so, you can still pre enter, it's just that you are not guaranteed the bag etc
I sent off my form around a week ago - do you guys send out confirmations?
Craig (or anyone else for that matter) if you are concerned about your entry being recieved, email me and I will get it checked out and let you know. Just send me your full name.
Herne, I am 100% sure that we rec'd yours.

that's easy, get them to move back to the weekend that they have normally used!! This is the first time that there has been a clash of dates. We always hold Toranafest on the 3rd Sunday of September, every year..
cheers

Love the flags too, I can see me going home with a couple of those.
I changed our booking at the motel the other night, we are now staying on and returning home on the Monday instead of after the show on Sunday.
Cheers

Gday Barry,
I have grabbed Alan's number, so if us VTC boys are around Yass I will give you a ring. Would be nice to cruise up to Sydney with a few other Toranas. At this stage we will be Purple LC 4 door, White LJ 4 Door and Yellow UC 4 door.
Last year I believe Chris and Darren nearly froze going through Goulburn so that would explain that.

might bring the race car on the trailer, only thing painted is the engine bay! do we still have "unfinished project" awards?
