Howard just didn't apply himself enough, and gave up when the going got too tough, ehehehe :P

Stop rubbing in how good it will be with 250+ Torana's on the field!!

Can someone for heaven's sake take a wireless laptop and upload some pics during the day!! ;) :bowdown: :clappin:

Where is everyone staying for Accommodation? I have a cousin up in Morisset, How far is that away? Should stay there? Or get a Hotel close by?

Me being a male, Of course i am doing things last minute! I still am tossing up whether to come up or not! But when I hear things like 250+ Toranas!!! I just can believe what i read!

I just don't want to spend the next few nights and all saturday getting the car ready and to be turned away.

:spoton: Hi All you Torana Club members remember I will be looking for up to two guys or gals from each club to assist in the Most Original Judging, that means you Tiny!!

The ANSMA judges will do all the other categorys so look for me the little round fat one or Les White the tall skinny one we need your help so dont let us down.

Find me or I will find you on the day around 10.00 am it should not take too long and you will get to see all the cars and give a balanced result to the judging

But seriously Todd Martin will have the mike this year and I will be free mmmm (#@4^%@# McCardle) to assist with judging!

A couple of Forumers would be of great assistance to make the judging a level playing field.

I may even get you a ride in Harry's Golf Cart hows that!

Thanks for that its good to see the Great Oz will see me and I am not a girl in red shoes with a dog called Toto, a Cowardly Lion or a Tin Man, rust maybe?

I am sure you have taken enough of them apart to know what a whole one looks like.

Anal will help but is not a necessity!

Thanks for that 2 members would be more than enough and it would be good if they do not have cars eligible for original status but it is not a necessity if their cars are elegible as with enough different club members there should be no suggestion of bias.

And like Greg the Great Oz a little bit of Anal never goes astray, I mean in relation to authenticity that is! That just dont come out the way it should? But I know you know what I mean.

G'day fellow Toranafest Travellers,
Just finished loading up the car, leaving tomorrow morning from Albury/Wodonga on my first stint to Canberra (staying with Herne). Then fri morning heading up to Newcastle for the dinner fri night. Big journey all up (1600kms) round trip. First Toranfest for me & can't wait! Be good to catch up with & finally meet other forumn members face to face.

Hi Barry

I would suggest that someone speak to Todd Martin in the morning with a time to meet, etc.

The best place for a picture will probably be at the eastern end of the park, around the Torana banner

Is their any secure parking available for non entered Torana's?

I'm not sure if i can make it, i will be on holdays, but i have a retaining wall to build 1st.
I have every intention to come if my circumstances allow and definately want to bring the Hatch.
Just would prefer to not park 2km's away in some side street.
It's a long walk back to Melb if the car goes missing.

Not happy, the retaining wall has/is taking longer than i hoped, so wont be coming.

Posts had been replaced before and everytime i tried to drill a hole, straight into old concrete block from original post's.

So been hanging off a jackhammer for the last week to prepare holes for the new post's.

Will be working all this weekend to finish it. :cry:

Make sure you guy's take plenty of pic's, maybe next year.

Who else is Driving up from Melbourne?

I'm leaving 12am Sat Morning (Midnight Friday Night) and going straight up to newy! I'm in the Ute, So whack it in 6th gear and click on Cruise Control! Me and the Mrs will just alternate driving along the way.

Still planning our trip back, we will take it slower on the way back and break up the trip a bit. Also see a few sites along the way.

How would we go about rounding up the gmh members though? maybe an announcement of a p.a?

Do it kinda early to, so we can get to know people. I have met a few of your guys, but my memory is vague! LOL. I'll be wearing the forum shirt! LOL
