Was going to make all details available at next club meeting. Plenty of rooms. If you want to go ahead and book, feel free as you don't have to put down a deposit. I gave them my details as the Canberra contact person so you may want to make reference to me mate. Happy to help out where I can.
Cheers mate.

you can always sleep in the hatch in the motel carpark and be the night watchman lolLOL, All my family is from Sydney. I think my cousin lives in Morrisett? I have only been there once, and it was a few years ago. He always comes to Melbourne, but we never go up there... So its time to make a surprise appearance! LOL

There will be Toranafest and Dinner Posters, info and entry and ticket forms, etc sent to everyone who attended Toranafest last year, and in 2006!! We hope to have that out around mid May.
I can assure that those here will be part of the advance ticket offer before it goes public in July. I would suggest that ppl use this time as I have a feeling that tickets will go fast.
cheers
Mick

No problems mate, Xtreme Holdens is very proud to be assosciated with the event. Also great to hear that HDT are on board for major sponsorship. Full steam ahead!Hi All
I can give you all a bit of an update on how things are going with regards to Toranafest and the Dinner.
I am very happy to announce that we have just confirmed Major Sponsorship from HDT for both Toranafest and the Dinner!!
We have also rec'd a great advertising deal with Extreme Holdens (Thanks heaps Broads!!) that will see advertising for Toranafest in the Jun and the Aug issues as well as something special in the issue following Toranafest.
I hope to have such things as Toranafest posters, entry forms, Dinner posters, ticket forms, ready and on here by the end of May.
Stay tuned for more..
cheers
Mick
Cheers,

Yep the Fatman is still alive, I think, yep old ticka still beating.
I am already tired, sstorana is driving us like he stole us!
You would not want to know what it is like to organise Toranafest each year and try to come up with ideas for making it better than the last one.
Like the idea about the Wet T shirt competition I'm in! don't care who sees my mancans!
Same as last year if things are tough and costs are hurting give any of HVTC guys or gals a pm and I'm sure we can find somewhere for you to stay even if the Inn is full as one guy once found out there is always room in the stable! (Get down damn donkey!)
You guys might want to know that we have got our new Web page up but not necessarily running right just yet, bare with us, but you can definiltely get maps, entry forms poster etc from the site now! mmmm maybe too much gasket goo on the oil pump mmm.
Just got to mention to all you LC LJ drivers comin up down sideways? after a really scary moment with Meat Porris' XU-1 (replica) please carefully check your rubber steering bush before you leave, if its old replace it! No fun 100 kph and no steering!!

Yep you sure can buy a shirt but hey its cheaper to enter and get a shirt plus goody bag (it will be full of good stuff worth more than your entry fee!) and you dont have to worry about parking!
Please realise that some people have a cringe factor about putting their cars in a show but Toranafest is different we want to celebarte all Toranas and there is no shame only pride in putting your streeter on display with primer or white ants (provided there is not too much damage) there is an encouragement trophy for the entrant who is on their way with a build up or restoration.
I have attended Toranafest now for around 12 years and have found that just as many people stop and talk to people dislaying a well worn and used Torana as those with a show car!
So if you are coming and have a Torana consider entering knowing that the money raised goes to charity and you will not be out of place. Heck tell me youre coming and I will come over and interview you on the microphone!

I think you should take your Hatchback shell this year just to show what a full bare metal rebuild looks like and all the problems associated with one!
