hey guys went to hang my new pacemakers yesterday and found two things, one that they dont clear my new sump which is stupid but my fault should have checked earlier can just get a spacer its only a couple of mm. the second more worrying problem is that the collectors point directly at the box i cant even get the Y piece on to joint them together.
has anyone else had any problems like this? i am running a celica box but i cant see how running a celica or the m21 would make any difference in this case. is anyone else runnign these pipes with a celica box?
i did call up the exhaust shop they got onto pacemaker and they apparantly want to send someone out to have a look at it themselves and issue a new set if neccessary.

anyhow any feedback appreciated as always.
cheers
Ben

Hi Ben,
I just fitted the pacemaker extractors with the gold coloured Y piece and they went in no problems. they clear the box easily.
I will find out tomorrow what type they are because they still have the part number stickers on them

I had the same problem when I went from a 202/M20 to 202/Celica steel case. Nothing an oxy couldn't fix at the local exhausst place

dammit, o well i guess ill have to do the same thing, the celica must just sit lower does it? cheers guys anyway. i think the main priblem is now going to be the sump. will just hav to pull the engine and cut the sump down.

202, celica box and pacemakers in my LC. After refitting once they did just hit the corner of the box. Just loosened them off, pushed them around a bit, tightened back up and no problem - although clearance isn't much.

I did have to get the exhaust modifed under the box when i put the Celica in... it was fine with the m20 tho, didn't hit the sump either.

no dramas guys i guess i might hav to do some chopping i didnt think the celica box would change much but it obviously does shouldnt be to much of a drama. the biggest problem i hav still is the interference with sump.

o well

what an accumulator is usually used for, make up for loss of pressure at any given time.
theres stuff everywhere but i didnt really know how to make it neater, i was trying to get some pictures from some guys that have already done it to get some ideas but no one wanted too and i got lazy coz i just want it to be driving. its just to get around using the sstandard galleries in the block obviously, its not as complicated as it looks.

just gonna get that sump cut up anyway prolly take 5mm out of the pan on the passenger side. then they will fit.

cheers
ben
